Cataloging Service Bulletins: do you miss them?

ImageI mourn the discontinuation of the Cataloging Service Bulletins.  I found them to be a vital resource for keeping up-to-date on new and changed subject headings and name authorities.  The Library of Congress site states that they are a discontinued publication. All back issues are available (in html) for free, but we need NEW issues.

Do you miss them as much as I do???

One response to “Cataloging Service Bulletins: do you miss them?

  1. I do miss them. Whereas I can now get my monthly fix of new LCC classes through their email digest bulletin. Somebody at LC seems to have decided that LCC publications (also recently discontinued as print) ought to be made available for free, but that LCSHs are still monetizable. LC have always maintained this dichotomous thinking, which I simply don’t understand.
