It’s conference season!

The Canadian Library Association held their annual conference last week in Montreal.  I am proud to say that my supervisor, Laurel Tarulli was one of the presentors at the conference.  Her topic: “Social catalogues”.  Her presentation will be posted to her blog “The Cataloguinig Librarian” shortly.  Highlights from her visit to CLA and Montreal are posted already.

A.P.L.A. (The Atlantic Provinces Library Association) is holding their conference from June 10 – 13, 2009, taking place on Halifax’s busy waterfront at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. The conference theme for 2009 is Sharing – The Library Experience | Partager – L’expérience en bibliothèque.

Laurel is also presenting at this conference and this time I will get the opportunity to attend.  I am really looking forward to it.
